This can be done at scale without the need to worry about infrastructure or dealing with patching up servers.

Because of the nature of this program it is not open to the general public, it is intended for high-profile publishers, media companies, or startups that we have a good deal of confidence in.

You may be a good candidate for TalkPress VIP hosting if, for example, you get more than 500,000 pageviews a month on your forum. Pricing begins at $1000/month per forum with a one-time setup fee of $1500, but may be flexible depending on your circumstances or number of forums.

How it works

  • Edit your templates via Subversion.
  • Point the records for your domain name at your new TalkPress.com VIP account.
  • No restrictions on ads, Javascript, etc.
  • You can run most plugins (that don’t modify DB tables).

  • Free promotion of your new forums on our Publisher Blog.
  • Unlimited number of sub-forums
  • Unlimited traffic
  • Static themes files on our global CDN
  • Full backups just like WordPress.com VIP

What we ask in return

  • A “Powered by TalkPress VIP” link on your site.
  • A few standard hooks in your template for our centralized stats.
